2020 rules
Rules: Are subject to change as we work things out, but they will be SET IN WRITING before first tournament !!!
Times: 6 pm to Midnight............Registration will be 5:30 pm to 5:55.......will not accept entries after 5:55 pm.........Everyone leaves Parking lot behind Buehler's store in New Philadelphia at 6 pm ........Tournament will release everyone to leave at the same time by his watch !!! Weigh Ins are at Midnight.......no fish will be weighed before midnight.......all anglers must be in parking lot by 12:05........if they arrive after that they will not be allowed to weigh in but WILL receive participation points towards the points championship !!!
Entry Fee is $10.00 per person ........if some one has a handicap they may bring one person along to assist them with carrying their gear and to accompany them for safety reasons only ......... they are NOT allowed to fish !! Children over 12 may not fish with the person unless they have paid a entry fee !!!
Anglers may weigh in 3 Channel Cats for main tournament
Optional Big Flathead pot $5
Size Limits: Channel Cats must be 15 Inches in length. Only one channel cat 28 inches or larger may be kept according to Ohio State Law.
Rod & Reel fishing only.......no jug lines......trot lines or limb lines !!!
This is a Bank Fishing Only Organization...........NO BOATS !!!!
Fishing is permitted on the Tuscarawas River and Stillwater Creek as far in as the Urichsville Dam !! No fishing lakes.....ponds or any other body of water attached to the river !!!
Pay Out will be as follows: 100% Payback
$10 of each entry fee goes to the Pot
OPTIONAL Big Flathead pot $5
1rst Place receives 60% of Pot Money
2nd Place receives 40% of Pot Money
Big Flathead pot 100% payout
Tournament Director reserves the right to deny anyone membership at any time.
Members will be voted in by officers.
3 Officers will be selected if there is any problems, they will VOTE to resolve the problem !! ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL !!! If anyone wishes to protest the winner or has any issues they need resolved it MUST be brought to the attention of the Tournament Director and officers to be handled BEFORE the weigh ins are over !! Cheating or suspicion of cheating can result in ANY MEMBER being removed by the 3 officers !!!
There will be no spot saving...........everyone can fish public spots along the river at any time...........however i do not want people drag racing to get to a spot........use common sense and be respectful of each other !! There will be a 50 yard rule..........the first person to a area fishes it............do NOT come in and sit down on top of them 50 yards is 50 yards..........it is a big river plenty of places to fish !!!! Any complaints will be dealt with by the Officers !!!
We will hold a points championship for "bragging rights" ONLY
Points will be awarded as follows:
1rst...........25 pts
2nd...........22 pts
3rd...........19 pts
4th............16 pts
5th.............13 pts
6th.............10 pts
7th..............7 pts
8th and down..........6 pts
Participation points if no fish caught.........3 pts
Big Channel Cat Winner will receive ................3 pts
No points awarded for big flathead $$ Only
