What started with crafting herbal remedies for family and friends eventually blossomed into Salte Botanicals! Erin has been attending farmers' markets consistently for the past five years. Her favorite part of every market day is introducing people to the power of herbs and sharing the knowledge behind each handcrafted product.

Many of the herbs used in Salte Botanicals' products are grown by Erin herself, while others are thoughtfully wildcrafted along the Seacoast. Every product is made in small batches with care and intention, bringing the best of nature into every jar.

You can find Salte Botanicals at our Dover, Exeter, and Portsmouth Farmers' Markets! Stop by Erin's table to learn more about the herbs behind her products, ask questions, and get recommendations. While you're there, give her favorite product, Rosy Glow, a try.

Vegan cheese, meats, and fresh bread?! Mad Flavor has it all!

Mad Flavor was started by owner Klajdi, who struggled to find high-quality, plant-based products while working as a chef. He decided to start experimenting and set out to prove that plant-based products can be both delicious and made with high-quality, clean ingredients.

Since starting the business, Klajdi has been attending farmers’ markets for two years, and this is his first season with Seacoast Eat Local! His favorite part of market days is the community and he loves being able to source ingredients from fellow vendors and connect with like-minded people.

Everything he makes is handmade fresh each week, with Klajdi doing all of the cooking and his wife helping out on the marketing side.

You can find Mad Flavor at our Dover, Exeter, and Portsmouth Farmers’ Markets! Be sure to try his favorite, the Pink Panther cheese, and ask Klajdi where it gets its vibrant pink exterior.

The sun will be shining this Wednesday, August 19 from 3:30–6:30pm at Lower Henry Law Park! It will be the perfect afternoon to support local and shop the Dover Farmers’ Market. Whether you’re looking to pick up fresh, in-season produce from Roots in Reverie or handcrafted hot sauces from Cousin Dean’s, the market has so much to offer.
As a reminder, well-behaved, leashed pets are always welcome at the market. 🐾

Celebrate our amazing vendors this National Farmers' Market Week by shopping the Dover Farmers' Market Wednesday, Aug. 5th! National Farmers' Market Week was created to spotlight the hard working farmers, food producers, and farmers' markets who are a huge part of our local food system! The market will have fresh, seasonal produce, locally caught lobster, baked goods, and more local favorites!

Gary's Lobsters🦞
Gary's day starts long before sunrise. By 4 a.m., he's already out on the water hauling in lobsters that he'll bring directly to our farmers' market later that morning.!

After semi-retiring from his previous career, Gary moved to the Seacoast four years ago with a dream of working on the water. He decided to go all in on starting a lobster business and thanks to a recommendation from New Hampshire Fish and Game, he found his way to the farmers' market. He's now been a market vendor for two seasons!

Gary's favorite part of market days is seeing the smiles on people's faces and watching kids light up when they spot the live lobsters.

His vendor superpower? Keeping lobsters alive and at peak freshness without ever using a holding tank. Instead, they're carefully stored in temperature-controlled coolers with seaweed, helping preserve the quality and flavor. It's a difference customers notice, with many telling Gary they're the best lobsters they've ever had! When you shop with Gary, you're buying directly from the fisherman who caught your lobster while supporting NH's working waterfront and local food economy.

You'll find Gary's Lobsters at our Durham, Dover, Exeter, and Portsmouth Farmers' Markets throughout the season. If you're visiting the Portsmouth Farmers' Market, be sure to grab one of Gary's fresh lobster rolls while you're there!🦞
