The Amish School House is the only stop all riders will travel through on their journey, unless they are following the 100-mile NO PIE route. Hosted by Bike Delaware volunteers and Delaware Military Academy students, it is the PIE stop! You'll also find porta potties, beverages, snacks and bike mechanics from Lewes Cycle Sports. This is a functioning school house loaned to us for the day and we hope you enjoy looking but not touching the students property while on site.

Harvest Ridge in Marydel will be open 9 am to noon to support 50, 62 and 100 mile riders who choose to stop. They will be hosted by Bike Delaware volunteers serving snacks and beverages. Porta potties will be available. Bike Support will be provided by Seagreen Bicycles.

The 50 & 62 mile riders will have an opportunity to stop at the Emmanuel AME church in Hartly from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. The folks from Zoaroo will be providing rest stop support and they will have a bike mechanic available to assist.

We're happy to support the Pedal Away Prostate Cancer Race presented by Delaware Prostate Cancer Coalition (DPCC), the race will beheld on September 26th this year.

Race Details: A flatland timed road race involving 2 distances through Amish country in Kent County, Delaware. The bike race includes a 25 mile or 50 mile route makes a single loop (25 miles) or 2 loops (50 miles) that starts and ends at Eden Hill Medical Center in Dover. This is the Amish School house and we borrow the property for the day. This is where the pie is served, porta potties, beverages and other snacks are also available. There is no electricity. If you are stopping for pie, this is where you do that. All routes including the 15, 25, 50, 62 and 100 go through this stop EXCEPT THE NO PIE 100.

When you're approaching intersections, common sense goes along way even if you think you have the right of way. The tour operates on open roads and we encourage all riders to educate themselves on Delaware law with regard to riding bicycles. We also place signage on the roads we use and DELDOT places signs in the week leading up to the ride. All of this is great, but we still encourage common sense and using caution as you approach intersections.
