Christmas gift HIV-infected Children at (Saphalta HIV Shiksya Sadan) Baby Life Home, Kitipur, Nepal.

We successfully distributed 27 Warm Jackers, 27 Warm Room Sleepers, 2 Water Dispensers, and 2 Room Heaters as our Christmas gifts to HIV infected Children at (Saphalta HIV Shiksya Sadan) Baby Life Home, Kitipur, Nepal. It was an unusual experience for us, a fusion of joy and sorrow. The Delightful faces with Christmas Gifts on their hands and the curios faces, were the feelings that couldn’t be expressed in writing.

We appreciate the Founder President Mr. Rajkumar Pun and Vice-President Ms. Uma Gurung of (Saphalta HIV Shiksya Sadan) Baby Life Home. Meeting them, one can realize that humanity has not vanished from this world. It is a challenging responsibility to care for and handle these children with such love and care and they proved to be the best one for this.

We extend our hearty thanks to Club Secretary Lion Alina Karki for donating as well as coordinating this program and distributing all collected gifts. Also, thanks go to Leo Aavarika Niroula, Leo Vice-President for your coordination.

CHRISTMAS GIFT for HIV-infected children in Nepal.

Christmas can be a lonely and sad time for children living away from their families and home. They might have numerous disappointments in their lives, and they have little hope that things will change in the future. The message of love and hope is given to them by fulfilling one small wish on Christmas. Club Treasurer, Lion Alina Karki created a Christmas gift program for HIV-infected children in Baby Life Home, Nepal.

BABY LIFE HOME is an HIV orphanage located in Kritipur, Nepal. The orphanage currently has children rescued from various regions of Nepal. These brave children have been deprived of their basic rights to an education, and thus grow up to be active and productive members of society. This situation led them to open Saphalta HIV Shikshya Sadan First School for HIV-infected children.

This Christmas, we are planning to donate warm clothes as Christmas gifts. The Christmas gift we will be giving them will hopefully make them smile and bring them a bit of hope and warmth.

Please contact below the persons if you would like to donate warm clothes as a Christmas gift for those HIV-infected children.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT :
This is our official announcement that our project “One Month Food for Youth affected by COVID19.” is being closed from today.

Together, we are rising to the challenge of fighting the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19). During this time of social distancing and stay-at-home orders, LCI Everest Centennial, District 44H have delivered the 1st package of groceries as well as 2nd package of groceries for students.

During this project, we have delivered 1st package of groceries for 20 international students of different countries and 2 national students of the different states of the USA who came for their study at NH who are in a tough situation and having hard time meeting needs. As well as, we have delivered 2nd package of groceries for 12 international and 2 national students who had already taken their 1st package one month ago.

It was really challenging to participate in the needs of our community. Specially, thanks to Lion Umesh Koirala, Lion Ajay Rana Bhat, Lion Alina Karki and Lion Sachin Rai who took a challenge to deliver a one-month grocery at their home.
