What’s that you ask?

Delaware’s own premiered his new feature film, “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead” — a modern remake of the 1991 classic — last night on Wilmington’s Riverfront.

In honor of the Delaware-born writer/producer’s achievements and his consistent effort to sharing it with his hometown, .2020 proclaimed April 12th Chuck Hayward Day.

The film hits theaters today (Friday, 4/12/24) with an LA premiere and Q&A.

This Thursday, March 9 at 11AM at Legislative Hall in the Senate Hearing Room.

This pertains to Delaware's film production current tax incentive program.

DELAWARE DOES HAVE A PRODUCTION TAX INCENTIVE PROGRAM ON THE BOOKS! OUR GOAL MUST BE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!

MONTHLY MEETING THIS SATURDAY!!!

We'll be discussing the Delaware Motion Picture and Television Development Commission's meeting that was held on Wendesday, 12/14 at 2P in Legislative Hall.

We'll also be examining talking points for the development of regulations around the implementation of the Entertainment Industry Fund (aka the Production Tax Incentive) Pilot Program.

Last, but not least, we want to hold space to hear from you; the First State filmmakers who will be impacted most by this bill. As you bring your voice to the floor we are able to adequately design calls-to-action and other interventions to ensure that our state's elected officials and decision-makers are doing right by you!
