Our goals are public education, Asian culture appreciation, and fostering friendships. Do you like anime, video games, Asian culture, cosplay, friends and fun? Then you've come to the right place. Established online in 2002, with monthly meetings and events starting in 2004, we are Delaware's most active anime club with chapters in Dover, DE, Wilmington, DE and Bryn Mawr, PA (Philly area). We're f
ree to join and for ages 13+. Our goal is to unite anime, Asian culture and gaming enthusiasts in the tristate area and for them to have fun and make lifelong friends and contacts through their shared interests and by being a part of our club. We also strive to:
-expand awareness of Japanese animation in the community
-further the appreciation of Asian culture
-educate the public on the connection between art and culture.
-give back to the community in the form of educational programs and donations to charities. We welcome you to hang out with us online, see us in person (or both)! There's lots to do including monthly meetings, annual minicons, cosplay contests, video game tournaments, raffles, convention meetups and more. We are also the people behind the Philadelphia-region multi-genre convention, Zenkaikon, which happens annually in the spring in Lancaster, PA. (zenkaikon.com)
