❤️🚗 What an incredible day for our community! 🚗❤️

Our annual Central Maine Racing Foundation Car Show was an overwhelming success, and it’s all because of the amazing support from our community!

This year, we welcomed over 60 incredible vehicles and had more than 100 spectators cast their votes for their favorites. It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate amazing cars while supporting a cause that truly makes a difference.

🎉 This year’s People’s Choice winners are:
🥇 Kevin Gouveia with his 1951 Studebaker P/U
🥈 Mike Reynolds Jr with his 1967 Chevy El Camino
🥉 Jeff Peters with his 1977 Trans Am

🏆 Best in Show:
🏅 David Bragg with his 1956 Ford Truck

The best part of the day wasn’t just the trophies—it was knowing that every dollar raised from the car show will go directly to support the Piscataquis County Secondary School (PCSS) Outdoor Education Program run by Trisha Moulton. These funds help give local students opportunities to learn, explore, and experience the incredible outdoors through hands-on educational adventures that create lifelong memories.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our donation table. Thanks to your generosity—and because the Central Maine Racing Foundation proudly matched every spectator donation—together we were able to make an even greater impact for the students in our community. Your kindness will help provide opportunities these kids will remember for years to come.

None of this would have been possible without our amazing volunteers, who generously gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this event such a success.

In case you were wondering what the PCSS Outdoor Education Program was about here are some deets:

Students who sign up for the program get the opportunity to participate in many outdoor recreational activities and adventures during their fall and/or Spring Semesters of High School. The Maine outdoors is a great place to learn and experience lifelong activities and adventures that students can find a love for while taking this class! Some of the activities students participate in include:

Yesterday, I had the privilege of presenting a donation to the Dover Rovers ATV Club to help purchase helmets for every child who participated in the most recent ATV Safety Course.

We felt it was incredibly important that every child not only gained the knowledge to ride safely, but also went home with a properly fitting, safe helmet. Safety education is only part of the equation—having the right protective gear is just as important.

Seeing each child leave the course with the confidence and protection they need made this contribution truly worthwhile. A huge thank you to everyone who supports the Dover Rovers ATV Club and helps make opportunities like this possible. Together, we’re helping create safer, more responsible riders for the future.
