If you are tired of the politics that is in the air and want to celebrate what June 14 (Flag Day) is truly about. Troop 61 along with Corinth Pack 53 and their Charter Organization the Dow Lougee American Legion post 115 in a Scout Court of Honor, Cub Scout bridge ceremony and a Flag Retirement Ceremony. These event will be at Corinth Town Park Sunday from 12-4. Darling Ice Cream Truck will be there as well.

Troop 61 is selling Little Debbie big packs for $7. There are 18 different packs to choose from. If interested you can message me or contact any one of our scouts and I can arrange picking up the money and signing you up. Orders will be turned in June 14th. Delivery will take place soon after. Stock up for summertime snacks for the kids!!

Troop 61 is busy this weekend. Johnathan our Senior Patrol Leader is down at Camp Carpenter in New Hampshire for a shake down camping trip with our National Scout Jamboree contingent. The rest of the troop was get saplings together in Sebec to transplant to a farm in Rhode Island that was devastated by a fire. A great conservation project for the group.

Troop 61 is down here in South Portland to go to the Maine Military Museum. If you are ever down this way, make a trip here. They have some amazing memorabilia, and admission is by donation. Afterwards, a trip to the mall and the arcade is in order. It's a great day for scouting!

We are going to be running a bottle drive in Dover-Foxcroft tomorrow starting at 10. You can drop them off at the trailer in the parking lot of the Congregational Church. Or if you message us an address we would pick them up. We will also be going door to door in some neighborhoods. We appreciate your support.
