Since 1986, the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County has offered high quality cultural events and arts activities in our community. Our mission is to nurture, guide and stimulate the enjoyment of and participation in the arts among residents of and visitors to Douglas County. Celebrating over 35 years of service, the Arts Council presents a sophisticated and diverse mix of all kind

s of programs – monthly exhibits, arts education in schools, hands-on workshops and classes for children and adults, gallery talks, Cheers to the Arts, Public Art, Summer Pop Up Parties, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Taste of Douglasville, Chili Cook Off, and so much more!

Our Mosaic Multicultural Festival is coming up SOON on September 12th from 11-4 pm at the CAC!

Each year, we bring together local organizations, artists, businesses, and food vendors to provide our community with a taste of the world.

At this festival, each participating vendor selects a country or culture, decorates their booth to that theme, and provides activities and information related to that selected culture.

It's our way of celebrating the many amazing cultural traditions that enrich our area.

Today, we are very excited to reveal the next three of our cultural vendors who will be attending this year:

Cute & Covered will be representing Italy and bringing her fashionable ladies apparel and accessories.

Luv2 Bead Custom Jewelry & More will be representing Ancient Egypt with her handmade jewelry.
..and M&P Bling & Things will have info about Kenya as she sells her handmade costume jewelry, oils, crystals, and novelty items.

***Every CAC member who applies is guaranteed that one piece will be accepted into the show.***

Our bi-annual Local Lenses Members Photography Exhibit is FREE to enter. However, artists must be members of the CAC in order for their work to be accepted. Memberships to the CAC cost $10 for kids/seniors, $20 for individuals, and $30 for families.

Our Mosaic Multicultural Festival is coming up next month on September 12th from 11-4 pm at the CAC!

Each year, we bring together local organizations, artists, businesses, and food vendors to provide our community with a taste of the world; and each year we find generous sponsor that make the event possible. They step in to provide funds, services, and their time to make the day truly special.

Our Mosaic Multicultural Festival is coming up on September 12th from 11-4 pm at the CAC!

Each year, we bring together local organizations, artists, businesses, and food vendors to provide our community with a taste of the world.

It's our way of celebrating the many amazing cultural traditions that enrich our area.

Today, we are very excited to reveal the next three of our FOOD vendors who will be attending this year (We still have room for a few vendors. So, if you are interested please apply):

Cammie's Sweet Treats & More will be bringing homemade, southern, desserts.

Returning Mosaic Multicultural Festival favorite, Levi's Jerk Pit, will be serving Jamaican classics including Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Sweet Plantain; Jerk Pork; and Jerk Ribs.
..and Kona Ice will have their Kona Ice cups in Klassic Size & King Size. The will have 10 Self-serve flavors including sugar free and dye free options.
