Sometimes people become so focused on who they want to hurt that they stop paying attention to what they’re helping create. The truth is, decisions made from anger, bitterness, resentment, or revenge rarely stay contained. The consequences have a way of touching everyone. Whether it’s a family, a friendship, a workplace, a church, or a community, we all have a responsibility to think beyond our feelings and consider the impact of our choices. Silence has consequences. Spite has consequences. Participation has consequences. Choose wisdom over vengeance. Choose healing over hostility. Choose what builds, not what destroys.

Healing is holy.

Ministry is more than a sermon or a handshake. It is an invitation to see the person behind the pain. When we lead from theory, we offer comfort. When we lead from testimony and an understanding of the nervous system, we offer safety.

Being trauma-informed is a call to action for the church. It changes how we see our neighbors. It recognizes that sometimes, a struggle is not a lack of faith but a body stuck in survival mode. God gave us faith and science to work together. They are not enemies. They are partners in the journey to wholeness.

We must stop romanticizing chaos and start creating spaces where the soul can actually breathe. Intention tells the truth even when actions look fine on the surface.

Let us bridge the gap between the pulpit and the pew. Let us lead with grace that has a backbone. Healing starts with understanding.

Have you ever tried pouring from an empty cup?

Before Esther made a move, she prayed. Before she spoke, she fasted. Before she acted, she had a plan. Maybe the answer isn’t to work harder. Maybe it’s to fill your cup first.

Healing is holy. 💚

Everybody wants Peter’s boldness… until Peter starts cutting off ears. 👀 Let’s be honest. Have you ever been so frustrated, so triggered, so fed up that you had to have a conversation with yourself before you had a conversation with them? That’s why healing matters. Not because life gets easier, but because healing teaches us how to respond differently when people test every ounce of our patience. Watch until the end and tell me: What’s your go-to response when somebody gets on your last nerve? ⬇️ Be honest in the comments. Love and Light, Gigi Bee 🐝

The Hardest Blessing I’ve Ever Received ❤️

Some days, I can show up, serve, speak, and pour into others. Then there are days when my body asks for what my spirit wants to ignore. The pain. The inflammation. The rashes. The recovery. Lupus and Stevens-Johnson Syndrome/TENS have taught me that strength is not pushing through every limitation. Sometimes strength is listening. Resting. Honoring the signals God built into my body to protect me. This journey has been one of the hardest blessings I’ve ever received. Because while illness took much from me, it also gave me perspective. It taught me that rest is holy. That slowing down is not quitting. That surviving is not weakness. That every new day is a gift. So as long as the Lord wakes me up, I will get up. I will show up. I will dress up. I will tell my story. Not because every day is easy, but because every day is evidence of God’s sustaining grace. Rare. Resilient. Redeemed. Healing is Holy.

Some people think home is a place. A street. A house. A city. A familiar face. But what if home is the place where you are fully seen and still fully loved? The Prodigal Son didn’t just find his way back to a location. He found his way back to grace. Maybe that’s why so many of us feel homesick even when we’re surrounded by people. We’re not longing for a place. We’re longing for belonging. And the beautiful thing about God’s love is that it doesn’t wait for us to arrive. It meets us on the road. Home is where grace meets you.

Last Saturday , while packing grocery bags and food boxes for families, I opened one of our freezers and immediately knew something was wrong.

We lost a significant amount of meat, seafood, and frozen items used to support the FOCUS Food Table.

The good news? We still have food to serve, we still have faith, and we still have a mission to fulfill.

If you’d like to help us restock, please consider making a donation at FocusFaithMentalHealth.org or donating non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and other shelf-stable foods. Donations can be dropped off at the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce or the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce. Just let them know it’s for FOCUS, and we’ll pick it up.

If you’re unable to donate at this time, would you consider sharing this post and our website within your church, workplace, neighborhood, social groups, and community networks? Every share helps us reach someone who may be able to help.

As I listen to the rain falling and the birds singing today, I’m reminded that God takes care of the birds of the air, and He will take care of us too.

Thank you for helping us continue serving families throughout our community.

A stranger spotted the Green Machine today and shared it on social media. It reminded me that healing is happening all around us. Sometimes healing looks like counseling. Sometimes it looks like prayer. Sometimes it looks like a meal, a conversation, a helping hand, or a simple act of kindness. That’s why we’re launching something new. ❤️‍🩹 Healing Is Holy. A stranger spotted the Green Machine today and shared it on social media.

It reminded me that healing is happening all around us.

Some of the strongest women I know are carrying burdens nobody knows about. They show up. They serve. They smile. They keep moving forward while fighting battles most people never see. If you’re still standing after everything you’ve been through, take a moment tonight and thank God for the strength you didn’t know you had.
