๐ MEET THE STAFF: DIANNE! ๐
If youโve been around Chanan for a while, chances are you know Dianne!
Dianne is our CLS/CAI Director and has been working (and having plenty of fun!) at The Chanan Foundation for 16 years! She started as a Day Center Instructor and has worked in just about every position at Chanan along the way โ except medical and DDP!
Her favorite part of the job? Watching the individuals we serve laugh, have fun, and experience new things. She loves introducing people to new activities and experiencesโฆ as long as theyโre willing to give them a try! ๐
But thereโs a lot more to know about Dianne!
โจ She was born in Kingston, Jamaica ๐ฏ๐ฒ and raised in Brooklyn, New York ๐ฝ
โจ Sheโs the youngest daughter in a family of nine!
โจ She actually goes by her middle name, which can make things a little confusing sometimes!
โจ She loves spending time with her grandkids. โค๏ธ
โจ She enjoys hopping in the car and exploring places sheโs never been before. ๐
โจ Sheโs a self-proclaimed foodie who would much rather discover a great local restaurant than eat at a chain. ๐ฝ๏ธ
โจ She loves baking desserts โ and, thankfully for us, sharing them! ๐ง
โจ After living in Florida for eight years, she recently discovered she LOVES cruising. ๐ข
โจ She loves listening to music and singing alongโฆ although she admits her coworkers sitting nearby may not love the singing quite as much. ๐๐ถ
For 16 years, Dianne has brought experience, fun, curiosity, and a genuine love for the people we serve to Chanan.
Weโre so thankful to have her as part of the Chanan family! ๐
