Women of Douglasville has officially reached **60,000 members**
When we started this community in 2014, I could have never imagined what it would grow into. What began as a simple vision to connect women in our community has become something so much bigger, a thriving platform where people come to connect, share resources, support businesses, ask questions, and show up for one another.
One thing I’m especially proud of is that this growth has been **organic**.
No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just consistent effort, intentional leadership, and a genuine commitment to creating a space that serves our community.
Managing a group of this size takes a lot of care, discernment, and time. I’ve always been intentional about protecting the culture of this community by keeping it **inclusive, resourceful, respectful, and welcoming**. I’ve worked hard to ensure Women of Douglasville remains a place where people from all walks of life can feel seen, supported, and connected.
That doesn’t happen by accident.
It takes boundaries. It takes moderation. It takes protecting the mission.
And through it all, you all have helped make this community what it is.
Thank you for trusting this platform.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for connecting, serving, and impacting.
And yes… we’re going to celebrate this milestone! 🥳
I’m currently focused on preparing for my daughter Alanna’s Sweet 16 this Friday (a milestone we’ve been looking forward to for a long time 💕), so all my energy is there right now, but once we get through this special weekend, I’ll be sharing details about a celebration in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned… because 60K deserves to be celebrated!
With love and gratitude,
Karen “The Connector”
