Humble & Meek: Exalted by God

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Throughout the scriptures, we learn that true greatness is not found in pride, position, or the praise of men, but in humility, meekness, and obedience to God.

In this Sabbath lesson, we examine the dangers of pride and self-exaltation, the importance of having a humble spirit, and how God honors those who humble themselves before Him. Through biblical examples, we will see that meekness is not weakness, but strength demonstrated through faith, patience, and submission to God's will.

God Is in the Details

Life is full of changes, new beginnings, and unexpected challenges. While new opportunities can bring excitement, they can also bring uncertainty, discomfort, and moments of self-discovery.

In this lesson, we explore the importance of acknowledging God in every season of our lives. Even when we don't understand what's happening around us or within us, we must remember that God is present, He cares about the details, and His peace is always available to those who seek Him.

No matter what chapter of life you're entering, remember that God is always just a prayer away!

In today’s lesson, “8th Day: All Things New Again,” we explore the powerful meaning of the eighth day and how it points to a new beginning, restoration, resurrection, and the fulfillment of God’s plan.

From being born again to the resurrection of the body, the restoration of Israel, and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth, we see a consistent message throughout the Bible: God is bringing His people into something new.

The eighth day reminds us that when one cycle is complete, God’s plan is not finished. There is still more to come — a new body, a restored people, a renewed creation, and a time when death, sorrow, pain, and the curse will be no more.

Be Thankful
In every season of life, we have a reason to give thanks to God. It’s easy to be thankful when things are going our way, but true gratitude is revealed when we can still recognize God’s goodness during trials, disappointments, and times of need.
In this lesson, “Be Thankful,” we examine the difference between gratitude and complaining, the danger of forgetting what God has already done, and how our faith allows us to remain thankful whether we are abased or abound. Even in difficult circumstances, we can count it all joy, knowing that God is still working in our lives.
Being thankful isn’t determined by what we have—it comes from remembering who God is, what He has done, and trusting Him through whatever comes next.

Jesus Our Atonement, Our Redeemer

The Day of Atonement is a solemn time of reflection, repentance, humility, and drawing closer to God. But what does atonement truly mean, and how does Jesus Christ fulfill the role of our Redeemer?

In this lesson, we examine the biblical meaning of atonement and redemption, the significance of the blood sacrifice, and how the Day of Atonement points us toward the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Through His blood, we have the opportunity to be reconciled to God, forgiven of our sins, and redeemed from the penalty of sin. We will also look at the importance of humbling ourselves before God, fasting with the right heart, repentance, and understanding the hope we have through the death and resurrection of Christ.

Jesus is not only the Lamb of God—He is our Atonement and our Redeemer.

Let It Go! The Price Is Too High

Offenses will come, but there is a difference between being offended and living offended. When we continually replay the hurt, rehearse the conversation, and hold onto anger, bitterness can begin to take root.

Forgiveness doesn't mean the hurt wasn't real. It means refusing to allow what someone did to continue occupying your heart and mind.

They may have hurt you once—but how many times have you hurt yourself by replaying it?

Let it go. Guard your heart. The price of holding on is too high.
