Northwest Georgia Young Marines attended the Middle GA Young Marines Multi-Unit Encampment at Camp John Hope FFA FCCLA Children's Camp in Fort Valley, GA, from Friday, September 11-13, 2026.

The weekend was filled with non-stop outdoor fun and activities beginning with marksmanship safety training on Friday evening to an entire day filled with sport shooting, axe throwing, archery, kayaking, basketball, co****le, night s***t shooting and the Young Marine favorite Mud Run and water slide on Saturday.

Group photos were taken this year in front of the Camp John Hope water tower in both encampment t-shirts and jeans to formal Young Marine uniforms including cammies and AV uniforms.

Sunday began with barracks inspections, then K9 Drug Dog demonstrations, followed by an Awards Ceremony before dismissal.

This was one of the best encampments to date! Everyone had fun, worked together, and created memories to last a lifetime. We look forward to the next encampment hosted by Middle Georgia Young Marines.
