The 100 Black Men of Douglasville is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to the intellectual development of our youth and the economic empowerment of the African American community. Our work is guided by the core precepts of respect for family, spirituality, justice, and integrity.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life within our communities while enhancing educational and economic opportunities for African Americans. We proudly serve Carroll, Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding Counties.

It was an honor to attend the 100 Black Men of America, Inc. Georgia Chapters Empowerment & Sustainability Summit on beautiful St. Simons Island. The summit was truly impactful and provided an opportunity to connect with leaders and brothers from across the state.

Several dynamic speakers and leaders shared powerful messages about the importance of collaboration, partnerships, and collective impact. We discussed developing stronger statewide partnerships, sharing best practices, strengthening our chapters, and finding new ways to make a greater impact in the communities we serve.

Another important conversation focused on civic engagement and the power of our vote. Understanding the importance of voting is one thing—making sure we are registered, informed, and actually getting out to vote is where the real impact begins.

This summit was a great reminder that we are stronger when we work together. By building relationships, sharing resources, empowering our communities, and exercising our civic responsibility, we can continue to create meaningful change.

Collaboration. Partnership. Empowerment. Service. Impact.

The 100 Black Men of Douglasville, Inc. was once again proud to be present at New Manchester Elementary School for the school’s Sneak-A-Peak event.

Parents, students, and family members had the opportunity to meet teachers, staff, and learn about the many programs and resources available for the upcoming school year.

Through the collaboration between the 100 Black Men of Douglasville, Inc FORGE Academy and the NMES King Society, young men will have the opportunity to participate in a mentoring program focused on leadership, academic achievement, character development, and personal growth.

We are excited to continue making a positive impact in our community and look forward to another successful school year of mentoring and empowering our future leaders.

As we prepare for the start of a new school year, The 100 Black Men of Douglasville, Inc. reflects on a great experience at the Douglas County School System Back-to-School Kick-Off last Saturday.

We had the opportunity to connect with school administrators, engage with community partners, and learn about valuable resources that will help us continue making a positive impact in the lives of our youth.

With the first day of school on August 5, we wish every student, teacher, administrator, and staff member a safe, successful, and rewarding school year. Remember to work hard, stay focused, and make this your best year yet!

We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s Douglas County School System Back-to-School Kick-Off as we continue serving our community through mentoring, education, and leadership.

We are honored to share that the 100 Black Men of Douglasville, Inc. has officially been added to the flyer as a community partner for the upcoming Prostate Awareness Rally alongside Commissioner Henry Mitchell.

This important event is dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer, encouraging early detection, and promoting men’s health throughout our community. We are proud to support this initiative as part of our ongoing commitment to health and wellness.

Stay tuned for additional event details, and we encourage everyone to come out, support the cause, and help spread the message that early detection saves lives.
