Hello everyone! SO SORRY for the delay in posts lately.
But here is a HAPPY HAPPY one! We hope you read this, and look at ALL of these photos! They will give you "warm fuzzies" for sure.
The Christmas elves, AKA Matt's mom, along with his Aunt Cathy and Aunt Jane spent a couple days filling stockings for Fisher House children. Fisher Houses are located across the world for families to stay when their service member or veteran is hospitalized.
The Camp Snoops Project has been providing Christmas stockings since our inception.
We packed over 200 stockings this year. Look at the adorable faces on these stuffed animals! They are packed and have been taken on a nice ride to T.P. Trailers and Truck Equipment where they will wait patiently to find out to which special child they will be bringing joy in December.
Thank you so much for your continued donations and support! We could not bring this joy to so many children without you.
And, because this is all Matt-inspired, the Christmas card included in each stocking is signed simply, "From your friend, Matt" 💛

As we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, take a moment to remember all those who have sacrificed greatly to get us here.
This is a wonderful quote from William Jennings Bryan, American lawyer and politician:
"The essence of patriotism lies in a willingness to sacrifice for one's country, just as true greatness finds expression, not in blessings enjoyed but in good bestowed."

We hope you all enjoy our nation's 250th birthday celebrations!
Please remember our veterans (and pets and wildlife as well) can have very bad reactions to the fireworks. Please consider enjoying the fireworks at local, organized events only, and try to forgo individual/neighborhood ones! Every little bit helps!!!

For many veterans, the sensory experience of fireworks causes their minds to revert to past combat experiences. Sudden, unannounced firecrackers are especially jarring and can lead to an exaggerated startle response, heightened vigilance, and extreme anxiety.
