Amity Township Crime Watch Amity Township Crime Watch, Inc. is a non profit, all volunteer organization established in 1985 We celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2010.

We are the extra eyes and ears for the Amity Police Department. The presence of Crime Watch helps to deter crime. Amity Crime Watch meets every third Thursday of each month at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 548 Old Swede Road, Douglassville @ 7:30 p.m. In addition to patrolling, ATCW sponsors crime prevention and safety programs as well as sponsoring a Community Shredding Event and co sponsor Youth S

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, 6:30 pm at the Amity Community Park, Weavertown Road, the Amity Township Crime Watch will be hosting the Berks County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit. They will bring three dogs to demonstrate their role in fighting crime in our community, They will also discuss what is required in becoming a K-9 Officer and the training involved for both officer and dog. The program will conclude with questions and answers

Hi Amity Township!
Just wanted to let everyone know that Amity Township Crime is celebrating their 40th Anniversary this year!!! Wow what a fabulous milestone for us!!! We would love to have more residents join our great organization and find out what we do and and how easy it is to become a member. There is no fee to join Crime Watch. Remember, any time you are willing to give- no matter how big or small -is helping our community. Our next meeting is Thursday July 17th at 7:30 PM. We meet at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Douglassville.
