The Daniel Boone Optimist club, chartered in 1968 and part of Optimist International, is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving youth and the community in which we live. Membership is open to men and women who are at least 21 years of age and interested in community service. We host the Amity Halloween Parade, Egg Hunt, Craft Fairs at Daniel Boone Middle School, Trout Rodeo, and the Community Tree Lighting.
