Scouts BSA Troop 597G

Scouts are more than just Scouts! Our girls are involved in other activities outside of our troop. We’d like to recognize our Senior Patrol Leader Evie S. who has spent the last several days in Walt Disney World performing with the Daniel Boone Area High School Band!

On Friday the marching band participated in the parade down Main Street in Magic Kingdom. Today they had a recording session where they performed several Disney movie theme songs!

Last week our scouts were honored to be a part of honoring Mrs. Kimberly Myers, 3rd grade teacher at Daniel Boone Area Intermediate Center, for being awarded the Elbert K. Fretwell - Educator of the Year award. We performed the opening flag ceremony and led the group in the Scout Oath and Law.

Congrats to Mrs. Myers on a well deserved achievement!
