It was a good day at Pantry. We were grateful and in awe of how many students showed up to help serve. No time for pics so we will list them: Judy Bailey, Eva Dustin, Olivia Childester, Karolye Traylor, Kerrington Traylor, Jax Ferguson and Lorelei Derryberry (hopefully these are spelled correctly). They were all real troopers and worked hard! We appreciate it so much. Total families served were 117. It was busy, but things went well. Many thanks to our our volunteers for all you do! It takes a team. A special thank you to those in the community that support us financially, and with food donations. We were blessed and surprised with a generous donation from a local friend. People helping people is what it's all about. All the glory goes to GOD for ALL the blessings we receive and keeping our doors open.

We had an awesome day and served 117 families. The weather was beautiful, the shelves were stocked and the freezers were full of chicken. Thank you Pilgrim's Pride for the donation! DISD students in Mrs. Tullos' spring semester Student Leadership class showed up! There were thirteen of them ready to help us out. We were all smiles, here come the troups! They worked hard and did an outstanding job. Many thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Tullos and these kids for choosing to spend time serving the community! A very special thank you to our wonderful volunteers and to those in the community for your food donations and financial support. Without you we wouldn't be here. All the glory goes to God for the blessings we receive, keeping our doors open.
