🎉 Come for the support, stay for the party!

🃏 Our first loteria party is next week! On Wednesday, September 2, come by in the afternoon from 4pm to get help with your tech device (phone, tablet, laptop) - need help with something such as booking an appointment, logging into an account, etc? We are here to support you. We will also have a computer on hand for use as needed. Loteria will start at 5:30pm with locally made prizes from the Maker’s Corner!

🃏 ¡La próxima semana celebramos nuestra primera fiesta de lotería! El miércoles 2 de septiembre, a partir de las 4:00 p. m., acércate para recibir ayuda con tus dispositivos tecnológicos (teléfono, tableta o computadora portátil); ¿necesitas asistencia para cosas como programar una cita, iniciar sesión en una cuenta, etc.? Estamos aquí para apoyarte. También tendremos una computadora disponible para usar según sea necesario. 🗓️ Next week we are launching an exciting new series with Daniel from Arizona Border Alliance - the Safe Space Series is a new weekly introductory workshop on trauma, healing trauma, and trauma informed care. This series is open to anyone in the community who is interested in learning.

⛓️‍💥 We will be discussing trauma informed care through the lens of incarceration and re-entry, exploring the experience of incarceration and reintegration. Come join us at the Roost for the first session on September 1 at 6:30pm.

🗞️ La próxima semana lanzamos una nueva e interesante serie junto a Daniel, de Arizona Border Alliance: la “Safe Space Series” (Serie de Espacios Seguros). Se trata de un nuevo taller introductorio semanal sobre el trauma, la sanación del trauma y la atención informada sobre el trauma. Esta serie está abierta a cualquier miembro de la comunidad que desee aprender.

🕊️ Abordaremos la atención informada sobre el trauma desde la perspectiva del encarcelamiento y la reinserción, explorando las experiencias asociadas a ambos procesos. Acompáñenos en “The Roost” para la primera sesión, el 1 de septiembre a las 6:30 p. m.

Check out a few of the inspiring vision boards from last night’s art jam 🤩 A vision board is something you create for you and you only - a visual representation of what you want your future to look like, something you can look at and feel into everyday, a tool to manifest your dreams into reality! Thank you to everyone who came to hang out and make art, we love these evenings of relaxation and creativity in community.
