Where it all began. 📸

In 2015, artists from Douglas and Agua Prieta gathered with a few tables, artwork lined up along the sidewalk, and a whole lot of neighbors on G Avenue. We called it Artwalk on G.

What began on one street in Douglas has grown into a two-day celebration of our binational life, brought to life through the arts. This year, we’re celebrating big on both sides of the border, honoring the creativity, culture, and connections that make our communities one.

Save the date: November 13–14 for our 11th Annual Binational Artwalk. Join us as we celebrate our shared story through art, community, and connection. ✨

The Binational Artwalk is back this November, and we’re looking for artists, performers, and vendors to be part of our 2026 celebration across the Arizona–Sonora borderlands!

Join us for two nights of art, culture, music, community, and creativity in Douglas, AZ and Agua Prieta, Sonora.

Join us for the opening celebration of “Yoremito,” an exhibition by students of the Visual Arts Program at the University of Sonora. This project is a visual and poetic act in which a group of university students takes on the educational and expressive challenge of intervening in the space through monumental painting, drawing inspiration from the work of Sonoran poet Abigael Bohórquez.

YOREMITO: Un viaje visual a través de la obra poética de Abigael Bohórquez

Los invitamos a la celebración de apertura de “Yoremito,” una exposición de alumnos de la licenciatura en Artes Plásticas de la Universidad de Sonora. Este proyecto representa un acto visual y poético en el que un grupo de estudiantes universitarios asume el reto educativo y expresivo de intervenir el espacio a través de la pintura monumental, inspirándose en la obra del poeta sonorense Abigael Bohórquez.
