Coffee County Family Connections invites families, educators, and community members to join us for an important evening of awareness, education, and conversation about the challenges facing today’s youth.

This interactive forum will focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of va**ng, THC products, cannabis, to***co, and other risky behaviors affecting young people. Hear directly from a panel of professionals in healthcare, education, law enforcement, juvenile justice, and prevention as they share local insights, answer questions, and offer practical tools families can use to protect and support their children.

🚐 Special Exhibit: Hidden in Plain Sight
Step inside a realistic teenager’s bedroom and discover how va**ng devices, THC products, and other substances can be hidden in everyday items. This powerful exhibit helps parents recognize warning signs and start meaningful conversations with their children.

⚠️ Participation in the trailer exhibit is limited to adults ages 21+.

🎁 Door Prizes! Attend for your chance to win several prizes—including a 55” Smart TV!

This event is free and open to families, school staff, and community members. Together, we can build awareness, strengthen communication, & support!

Action Pact’s Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is gearing up to help eligible households with their home heating bills this winter! ❄️🔥

📅 Priority appointments begin January 5, 2026
➡️ For seniors 65+ and homebound adults

📅 General public appointments begin February 2, 2026

☎️ Phone lines open at 8:30 AM — Coffee County residents can call (912) 922-2010 to schedule an appointment.

💡 What You’ll Need:
✔ Social Security verification for everyone in the home
✔ Photo ID
✔ Proof of all household income for the past 30 days
✔ Most recent home heating & electric bill

💲 Income eligibility is based on household size (see chart in flyer).

Funds are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please share this resource with anyone who may need assistance this season! ❤️💛💙

Teen Maze is a live, interactive experience that follows the story of one teen decision and the ripple effects that follow — from a party scene to a tragic accident to the courtroom. The powerful message is simple and real: every choice matters.
