Meet Krystal!

Krystal is a sweet 1-2 year-old shepherd mix girl who has already been through quite a bit in her young life! After showing up at a stranger’s home and giving birth to six puppies, Krystal and her babies were thankfully rescued and given a second chance. She spent time in the prison training program while her puppies made their way to Dog Orphans to find their forever homes. Now it’s Mama Krystal’s turn!
Krystal is a very sweet girl who gets along great with other dogs and is ready to find a family of her own. She’s done her job raising her babies, and now she deserves a home where she can be loved and spoiled!

Meet Bocephus — “Bo” for short!

Bo is a handsome 9-month-old boy whose family surrendered him when they realized their little puppy was going to grow into a full-sized dog. Bo is a sweet, energetic, playful boy who loves running, chasing balls, and spending time with other dogs. He even likes cats! Chickens, however, are a definite NO. Let’s just say Bo has a little too much enthusiasm when it comes to chickens. Bo would do best with an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures, walks, and playtime. Older children would be ideal since he can get a little carried away with his excitement. Bo has spent the last few months in a kennel, so he’s got some pent up energy but is very smarty and listens well. He may need some patience and guidance as he adjusts to living in a home. The kennel staff absolutely adored him and says he’s a great dog! At just 9 months old, Bo is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own.

Big Mac is a handsome a 3 1/2 month mixed breed puppy who traveled all the way from Alabama in search of his forever home! He and his brother Tanner were part of yet another unwanted, abandoned litter.
Big Mac is a sweet little guy who feels much more comfortable when he has another dog by his side. Having a canine friend helps him build confidence and feel secure as he experiences new things. He would love a home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes!
With a little patience, lots of love, and a furry best friend, Big Mac has everything he needs to grow into a wonderful companion!

Meet Fireball, Morgan & Brandy!

These three adorable sisters are 4 month -old Lab mixes looking for their forever homes!
The girls were found as strays down in Georgia and taken into rescue. They have spent the last two weeks in the prison training program, where they’ve been getting lots of attention and a great start on learning the basics.
Now they’ve made their way to Dog Orphans and are ready for their next chapter! These sweet girls are still young puppies with plenty of growing and learning ahead of them.

Fireball, Morgan, and Brandy are ready to find families of their very own!

3 1/2 months old | Mixed Breed | Male
Tanner is an adorable 3 1/2 month old mixed breed puppy who came to us from Alabama. Sadly, he and his brother were another unwanted, abandoned litter. Now he's getting his second chance at finding a loving family!
Tanner is a sweet boy who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. He absolutely loves having another dog around and gains so much comfort and confidence from a canine companion. A home with another friendly dog would be wonderful for him!
Tanner is ready for a family who will give him the love, patience, and encouragement he needs to blossom!

💕 Meet Belle! 💕

11 months old • Boxer mix

Belle is a sweet, silly girl who quickly shows just how loving and affectionate she is.

Belle was adopted and spent a month in her new home, but the resident dog began struggling with the adjustment after a few weeks. Through no fault of her own, Belle is back and ready to find her forever family.

She is potty trained, walks nicely on leash, loves other dogs, and has been cat tested and passed! A confident canine companion could be a great match for her, with proper introductions and time to adjust.

Belle loves being with her people and is still working on feeling comfortable when left alone. She’ll need a family willing to give her patience, reassurance, and help building her confidence.

Her foster family calls her “Piglet” because of her adorable snorts and snores. She’s goofy, loving, and ready for a fresh start with a family who will adore her!

Here are our available dogs who currently have no applications! Come meet them and please share to help them find homes!

We are open until 7 PM tonight for walk-ins!

Volunteer orientation is also tonight at 5 PM! If you’re interested in volunteering, come join us and learn how you can help. Must be 14+ to volunteer. Kids 14-16 must have a parent or guardian attend orientation with them but do not need to be here when they volunteer.

Dog Orphans is excited to be part of the Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 10th from 10 AM–3 PM!

Bring the family — and the dogs! — for a fun fall day featuring the Witches of Sutton, a dog costume contest & parade, scavenger hunt, horse & carriage rides, vendors, face painting, food, c***r donuts and more!

Come enjoy a great day at the orchard while supporting Dog Orphans Humane Society. We hope to see you there!
