🐾 IT’S SATURDAY… AND THEY’RE STILL WAITING! 🐾

We still have so many wonderful pups waiting for their furever homes.

Several new dogs will be arriving today, but before we introduce the new faces, we really want to put the spotlight on the pups who are already here and still waiting to be chosen.

They’ve watched other dogs meet their families and head out the door, and now we’re hoping this weekend will finally be THEIR turn.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting, come meet our current crew today. You never know—you may walk in just to visit and walk out having met your new best friend.

HOW IS SPARKY STILL HERE?! 🥺

We have posted him.
And posted him.
And posted him again.

We’ve shared his story, his adorable face, his playtime, and how much he has grown while waiting.

And somehow… Sparky is STILL without a home. 💔

Born March 25, Sparky came to us in June with his littermates. One by one, they were chosen. Sparky watched every single one of them leave with their new families.

He was the last one.

And he’s still waiting.

Now he’s growing up in the shelter when he should be growing up in a HOME—learning the routine of a family, going on adventures, playing in a backyard, curling up on someone’s couch and figuring out just how loved one little dog can be.

Just look at these incredible new photos from Jennifer Lynn Photography. 😭❤️ He even put on his little tie for the occasion. Apparently he thought dressing for the interview might finally land him the position of “Someone’s Dog.” 🥹

Sparky is a sweet, playful young pup who has spent far too much of his life in rescue and shelter care.

Please don’t let him grow up here.

Meet Milo

1½ years old • 30 lbs • Bulldog mix • From South Carolina

Milo may be a little guy, but he has already been through more than his fair share.

Milo arrived at a shelter in South Carolina as a stray in February 2026. No one ever came looking for him. On top of being homeless, Milo was dealing with a serious medical condition called paraphimosis.

After several surgeries were unsuccessful in correcting the problem, Milo ultimately needed a partial pe**le amputation. Through months of waiting, procedures, and recovery, this sweet boy kept going—and now he is doing well and finally ready to put all of that behind him.

And after everything he’s endured, Milo absolutely LOVES people.

His foster says Milo is:
🐾 Great with other dogs
🏠 House trained
🛏️ Crate trained
❤️ Incredibly affectionate
📺 A professional couch-and-TV buddy
🥰 A huge fan of belly rubs

His favorite place is cuddled up next to his human watching TV, preferably with plenty of belly rubs included.

Because Milo is a bulldog mix, we are requiring his adopter to have previous bulldog or bulldog-mix experience.

Milo waited months for his chance to leave the shelter. Now he just needs the final piece of his story, a family to call his own.

🐾 MEET LEO 🐾
3 years old • 60 lbs • Poodle Mix • From South Carolina

Leo’s story

On June 13, Animal Control found Leo in a driveway with another dog. He was alive but too weak to stand. At the shelter, he weighed just 34 pounds and was severely matted. No one came looking for him.

After receiving the care and love he needed in foster care, Leo is now a healthy 60 pounds of love!

Leo loves balls, squeaky toys, treats, and playing. He’s also happy relaxing beside you while holding your paw. He is house trained, crate trained, and good with other dogs, but he does not like cats.

Leo may need a little time to warm up to new people, but patience and treats help him feel comfortable. He also eats from a slow-feed bowl.

From barely able to lift his head to ready for a forever home—Leo deserves a safe, loving future.
