Because of you, the 2026 Converse County Junior Market Livestock Sale was one for the record books! This year's sale was record-breaking, and that success belongs to every business, family, and individual who chose to invest in our kids.

When you purchase an animal, you're buying so much more than quality livestock. You're investing in responsibility, early mornings, late nights, hard work, perseverance, and the future of agriculture. You're encouraging a young person who has poured their heart into a project for months, and you're helping them continue to chase their dreams.

Whether you purchased one animal, several animals, added on to projects, or simply showed up to support these exhibitors, you made a difference.

The dust has settled on another incredible Converse County Fair. Our hearts are full from watching our kids hard work pay off, seeing them support and cheer on their friends new and old, the successes and the lessons learned. We are all feeling proud!
We all are waking up feeling like we got a few more hours than we did all week long. And for one individual behind the scenes it hasn't just been the past week.
It's been the last several weeks and months of planning and paying attention to every detail that makes this experience so polished and perfect for our families and the community.
Kelsey Stephens carries the role of Fair Manager, while also being mom, aunt, wife and "bonus mom" to so many kids in the barn. She's involved in her community in more ways than one can count and we are fortunate to have her running our event!
So if underneath the piles of laundry your kids have a box, or boxes of beautiful new buckles and ribbons. If you have a pile a shiny new banners to line your show barn with. If your exhibitors stepped into the ring and had the opportunity to show off their hard work and if you notice the beautiful advertisements that brought the community down to support it all. Then we want you to know, Kelsey is the magic behind it all. She does it with a passion and joy that is truly unmatched. Simply put, we are completely blessed to have her leading the charge at the Converse County Fair!

What an incredible week at the Converse County Fair! 💙

A huge thank you to every volunteer, sponsor, superintendent, judge, committee member, staff member, parent, and community member who gave their time and support to make this year’s fair possible. Your dedication is what makes this event such a special tradition.

To all of our exhibitors, congratulations! We are so proud of the countless hours of hard work, early mornings, late nights, and dedication you put into your projects. Whether you brought home a banner or simply stepped into the ring, you should be proud of everything you’ve accomplished.

We're wrapping up an incredible week with one of our favorite traditions! The Converse County Fair Ranch Rodeo! Grab your family and friends and head to the Ford Grandstands for an afternoon full of western action and hometown fun!

Today's Schedule:
🐑 3:00 PM – Mutton Bustin'
💰 4:00 PM – Ranch Rodeo Calcutta
🤠 Immediately Following the Calcutta – Ranch Rodeo Begins!
🐂 Mini Bull Riding will take place throughout the Ranch Rodeo performance.

🐂🏆 The beef show brought outstanding cattle, fierce competition, and some incredible moments in the ring! From showmanship to champion drives, our exhibitors demonstrated the dedication, patience, and countless hours they've invested in their projects throughout the year.

Congratulations to all of this year's champions, reserve champions, and every exhibitor who competed. Your hard work, sportsmanship, and passion for the beef industry were on full display.

A special thank you to our judges, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who helped make the Beef Show a success. Congratulations on an incredible day, we're proud of each and every one of you!
