Converse Forward breaks down what Converse County’s existing 1% sales tax funds, where the money goes, and how those pennies impact our communities every day. Get the facts, follow the penny, and see the projects behind it at www.ConverseForward.org

What exactly is the 1% tax?

It’s one penny on every taxable dollar spent in Converse County — an existing funding source that helps pay for streets, water infrastructure, parks, public facilities and other major community investments.

On a $20 taxable purchase? That’s 20¢.
