Huge thank you to everyone who made the 3rd Annual Battle of the Badges Flag Football Tournament a success!

Thank you to all the teams who participated and competed with heart on Saturday. Congratulations to Cold Hearts on taking home the championship 🏆 and to Spartan Helmet for battling hard and earning 2nd place after a tough game, nothing but respect! 💪🏈

Special recognition to Spartan Helmet for their generosity in donating their $100 prize back to the league.

We appreciate every supporter, volunteer, and spectator who showed love and made this event unforgettable.

We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all of the softball teams who came out to play this past Sunday in support of your Douglas Youth Football & Cheer League! The high winds made for less than ideal conditions, but the competitors battled through and provided a full day of exciting, fast-paced, and hard-hitting action!

The Highlight of the Night came in the bottom of the 7th of the Championship Game when a 3-run inside-the-park homer off the bat of Bianca Majalca evened the score propelling Pitches Be Wild to the eventual 11-10 victory to take home the rings! Congratulations, PBW!

We also want to send special thanks to Mr. Jay Swanson for organizing this fundraising event!

To all of you, please continue to help spread the word about our organization to local family, friends, co-workers, and anyone you know with young athletes (seasoned or beginner) at home.

But, once again, many thanks to all who came out to support your DBYFCL!
