Scouts clearing brush on Leslie Canyon Trailhead, Gun Safety and Rifle Shooting, Campouts and learning knots, a little Aviation and weekly meetings. Recruiting 11 yrs to 17 yrs! New meeting day and time. We are now meeting in Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 7:30 at First Baptist Church 10th St & E Ave.

Had an awesome camping trip this weekend with the Troop. Aside from setting up tents and starting a fire, they identified birds, vegetation, used a map, hiked, prepared meals and washed/sanitized dishes. I am so glad they are learning these life skills, that I’m sure will benefit them in the future. We are currently recruiting boys and girls ages 11 and up!

BSA Scout Troop #430 of Douglas, AZ is recruiting scouts from ages 11-18 from Douglas and the surrounding areas. Scouting is packed with learning, growing, becoming good citizens and preparing for life. Camping, hiking, campsite cooking also a huge part of scouting. We encourage family participation and volunteers to join in!
