June is almost over, however before it ends there is a lot happening at St. Vincent de Paul.

Our mental health thoughts for the week: Sunday, "Start a new project, Monday, "Praise a job well done", Tuesday, "Remember a smile", Wednesday, "Go fishing", Thursday, "Make a new acquaintance", Friday, "Watch the clouds change shape", and Saturday "Get a job done".

Happenings the week of June 22 - 27, 2026:

MONDAY: Lunch will be served between11am and 12noon
TUESDAY: Emergency food will be provided between1 - 3pm
WEDNESDAY: SEACAP is visiting St. Vincent de Paul between 10:00 and 12:30, lunch will be offered outside the store at 11am.
THURSDAY: Financial Assistance is provided between 1 - 3pm
FRIDAY: Lunch is offered between 11am and 12noon

The Thrift Store will be open Monday - Saturday from 10am to 4pm and you may reach the store by calling 520-364-3637 where staff will assist you with scheduling pickups and deliveries.

New items are in the store daily. Your donations of gently used clothing, books, furniture, houseware, yard supplies, appliances, etc.. Your donations and purchases allows us to help others with food and financial assistance. We hope you have a safe day

Welcome to the Third week of June 2026! Our mental health challenges this week: June 14th "Visit a lonely person", June 15th "Be good to yourself"; June 16th "Talk to a Pet", June 17th "Photograph a friend", June 18th "Run down a hill", June 19th "Write a poem", and June 20th "Lick a lollipop". Hopefully you can do a least one of these ideas for your mental health.

Happening this week at St. Vincent de Paul, June 14 - 20, 2026:

MONDAY: Lunch 11am - 12 noon
TUESDAY: Office is CLOSED
WEDNESDAY: Lunch 11am - 12noon
THURSDAY: Financial Assistance 1 - 3pm
FRIDAY: Lunch 11am - 12noon

Thrift Store hours are Monday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00pm. You may reach the store by calling 520-364-3637. Store staff will assist you with pickup and delivery requests.

We thank you for the gently used clothing, books, DVDs, furniture, jewelry, shoes, etc. which you donate. The proceeds from the store provide funds for our food and financial assistance programs. Your donations and purchases help us assist anyone in need of assistance.

St. Vincent de Paul happenings this 2nd week of June 2026. June 8 - 13, 2026

Our mental health thought for today: "Close your eyes when you chew". Not sure how this helps your mental health, but try it anyway. :-}

MONDAY: Lunch is offered between 11am and 12noon
TUESDAY: CLOSED due to a funeral and lack of staff
WEDNESDAY: Lunch offered between 11am and 12noon
THURSDAY: Food distribution and Financial assistance is offered between 1 and 3pm.
FRIDAY: Lunch is offered between 11am and 12noon

Our thrift store will be open Monday - Saturday between 10 am and 4pm. You may reach the store by calling 520-364-3637 and a store staff member will assist you with scheduling pickup and deliveries.

BIG sales this week on clothing, linens, and shoes, so stop in and check out all the new items coming into the store each day.

We will offer lunch out of the store between 11am and 12 noon

Mental health thoughts in June:
June 1st, Take an early morning walk
June 2nd, Tell someone how much you appreciate them
June 3rd, Sit by a rushing stream

We can take a morning walk each day and tell someone you how much you appreciate them, however I challenge you to sit by a rushing stream this day.

WELCOME JUNE 2026! MANY HAPPENINGS THROUGHOUT THE MONTH including Men's Mental Health Month, Caribbean American Heritage Month, Pride Month, World Environment day (5th), National Donut Day (6th), Loving Day (12th), Al-Hijra/Islamic New Year (18-19th), Juneteenth (19th), Father's Day (21st), and Summer Solstice (21st). We hope you will celebrate some of the many celebrations taking place during the month of June.

We are grateful for the gently used clothing, appliances, furniture, glassware, dishes, books, DVDs, LPs, etc. we receive so we may feed those without food and assist our friends with the rent and utilities. Your support provides us with the funds to help the most vulnerable in our communities.
