As Scouts fulfill the requirements for this Merit Badge, they will learn how to become active citizens that are aware of and grateful for their liberties and rights, to participate in their governments and protect their freedom, helping to defend their country and standing up for individual rights on behalf of all its citizens.This badge focuses entirely on American democracy, the structure of the U.S. government, historical documents (like the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution), and active civic duties.

57 years ago today, Neil Armstrong made history as the first person to set foot on the moon! 👨‍🚀🌕

One small step for man, one giant leap for Scouting too ⚜️ As an Eagle Scout, Armstrong even took his World Scout Badge to the moon. 🤩

This afternoon Pack 92 got to go up and talk with Double Springs Mayor Kim Miller. We learned a bunch of things but most importantly "To be a good citizen".
