🧹🎄🧹Okay folks, before we haul all of this to the Swap and Shop at B & B Motors - Golden Pawn for Saturday here’s your chance to buy all of this (and more wooden ornaments not pictured) at one time for one money. There are over 30 small wreaths and over 30 large wreaths. The boxes contain 100’ of garland each. This would be great for a business, church, organization or someone who just wants to go Christmas crazy at your home.
💰$650 buys it ALL and you MUST pick it up in the Lakeshore area tomorrow (10/16) at 5pm. We will help you load it. 🚚 Any takers??? 😁

We as the Double Springs Study Club are making some changes. As part of this new season for our club we have made the decision to go a different direction regarding the Christmas Cards in the park that are displayed every year. As a result, if your business, organization or family have a painted card that has been displayed we would like to give it to you if you would like to have it. Because of where and how they are being stored you must comment on this post to let us know you’d like to have yours. Once we get a list we will schedule a date and time for them to be picked up in Double Springs. Again, please comment on this post. Thank you! 🎄

“What an extraordinary woman we had in our midst. I am so thankful to have crossed paths with this larger than life human. So smart and funny and dedicated to helping everyone be a better person. What a guide we had! I've been in awe of her from the 1960's. Our houses were back-to-back and she and my momma became best buddies. You'd never know there was a 30 year difference in their ages. As a teacher, she inspired and encouraged every one of us. I wanted to be just like her. No better role model in the world.

The last chapter of our lives has been such a sweet one. She was full of joy no matter if it was painting pumpkins, stopping by the shop to compare the size of our granny square blankets, or telling stories (and she sure had some!). No one ever personally supported me more than Glennis. She was always in my corner. I could depend on that. I bet every one of us could.

I can only imagine taking up the loss of her by trying to be a bit of the same light she was. Trying to help others experience life with the wonder and joy she did.
We have our job cut out for us.

Godspeed, Glennis. I love you.”
