Do you have something better to do on Thanksgiving morning than to start the big day off at the 13th Annual Double Oak Turkey Trot to benefit Dare To Serve? Before the games, the big meal, the pies, the parades, join your neighbors and friends in a little exercise. Lace ’em up and stretch ’em out and go for that “PR.” Timing chips will be embedded in the bibs. So you say you don’t have a 5K in yo

Gobble gobble. Happy Thanksgiving. It’s almost time. A few things to remember for today.
◦ Packet pick-up starts at 7 am.
◦ No walk-up registration.
◦ Each race will start on time. Fun Run 8 and 5k 8:30.
◦ Waketon will be closed from Bridlewood, West to Kings starting at 7:45 am.
◦ The intersection of Cross Timbers and Valley View Tr will be closed starting at 7:45 am.
◦ Your bib must be visible and worn on the front of you. Make sure it’s the bib number registered to you.
◦ You can bring Care Cabinet items to the race.
Looking forward to seeing you in a few hours.
