COMMISSARY FORT BENNING🇺🇸✨

Yesterday, I had the honor to be hosted by the Commissary on Fort Benning! The GA Watermelon Ambassador and I served watermelon and taught customers that it’s easy as 1..2..3 to find the perfect melon! We had an absolute blast to chat with everyone who stopped by and hand them some yummy recipes!

WILD ADVENTURES🎢🎡- Valdosta, GA

Sharing melons and making memories!👏 Yesterday I had the opportunity to join our Georgia Watermelon Ambassador, and our National Watermelon Queen at Wild Adventures. We served watermelon to all guests to keep them refreshed and hydrated in the blazing sun, as they explored all the things the park has to offer!☀️

We also had the opportunity to share watermelon with Tiffany and Tasha, the quirky anteaters. They quickly dug in and enjoyed every bite.🍉🙌

TEXAS PT 2🙌

Our last two days in Texas were full of grocery store promotions! We started Day 2 with two H.E.B locations in Bourne, TX. With a final stop to Sam’s Club-Store 8227 in San Antonio,TX. Thankyou to these wonderful stores for welcoming us and allowing us to share our joy for watermelon! 🍉👏

After a busy morning and afternoon, we made a trip to the Riverwalk and enjoyed a very delectable dinner at Bourdro’s! Thankyou Jesse Wiggins, Wiggins Farms, for making this night possible and treating us!🍽️✨

For our third day of promotions, we finished off at H.E.B in San Antonio! We lowered our bins and sold some melons in perfect time for Memorial Day!🇺🇸🌟

Our day began with a student farm tour with ! Me and my sister queens had the opportunity to join them for their experience, along with answering their questions, and treating them with a sweet treat. 🌟

We then proceeded to make an appearance at an H.E.B in Pearsall,TX. Where we helped customers pick up they’re Memorial Day essential! Thankyou H.E.B for hosting and welcoming us into your store!❤️

Sweet Grown Alabama Seafood Cook-Off🦐🌊
Yesterday was filled with a great adventure to The Wharf in Gulf Shores, AL. I had the privilege of joining at their 11th Annual Seafood Cook-Off! We had a fun filled evening and challenged the guests to a seed spit competition, the farthest being 23 feet!! If you haven’t been to a cook-off in real time it’s a must do!

Make sure you purchase local sweet grown watermelons for your next cookout!👩‍🍳🌟

Day 2 RECAP! We started our Saturday at Diamond99. Where we had the privilege to meet and greet with the honorable Thomas Family! We then attended the Newberry Watermelon Festival. We started by attending the parade and watched the 81st Annual Queen commence her year! Mr.Trey Smith, with T.Smith Farms, showed us around his farm, shared his knowledge and insight with his upcoming season. We finished our day with a visit to Gibson Produce. The packing shed was in full swing and we got to observe some behind the scenes action! We closed our day with a visit to L&J Farms, where Mr.Terry Parrish exposed us to a grafted field and taught us the role it plays in this area!🌱🍉

Thankyou Mr.Trey, Mr.Terry Parrish, and Gibson Produce for playing such a big role in our day and teaching us more about our industry!🍉🫶

Day 1 RECAP! We started off Friday morning at Bell elementary for their Gilchrist Day Celebration! The students learned all things watermelon and were then surprised with a summer preview, sponsored by . We continued the day by visiting industry leaders, and had the opportunity to learn more from their point of view! THANKYOU to the Land family, Rhantz Smith, Southern Corporate Packers, Trey Smith, and L&J farms for welcoming me and my sister queens!

A special thank you to Trey Smith for treating us to a great meal and spending time with us during lunch!💛

After a long and adventurous day, we ended a day with a delightful dinner sponsored by Mrs.Carrie Thomas, with Diamond99, and Katelyn and Trey Miller. 🌟
