We are almost completely out of newspaper at the clinic and are in desperate need of donations.

We use newspaper daily to help keep our patients clean, comfortable, and safe during their time with us. If you have any extra newspapers at home, we would be so grateful for them!

We are excited to announce that our feral cat program is returning!

As many of you know, Dr. Caroline is currently returning from maternity leave on a part-time basis. Because of this, we are unable to guarantee same-day surgery for feral cats at this time.

Feral cats may be required to stay overnight and have surgery the following day depending on our doctor's availability and surgical schedule.

Please keep this in mind when trapping and making transportation arrangements.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to bring this important program back to the community while ensuring every cat receives safe, quality care.

Understanding Our Services

Wiregrass Spay Neuter Alliance is a high-quality, high-volume surgical clinic. Our primary focus is spay and neuter surgery.

Vaccines and select additional services are available only at the time of surgery. We do not provide routine wellness visits, sick appointments, or full-service veterinary care.

This model allows us to:
• Maintain strict surgical protocols
• Operate efficiently and safely
• Keep costs affordable for our community
• Serve a high number of pets in need

Scheduling Information:

All appointments may be booked online through our website: wiregrassspayneuter.org.

If you do not see an appointment available for your pet type, it means that service is currently full. We encourage clients to check the website periodically, as cancellations and new openings may occur.

Some services operate by waitlist due to high demand. When appointments are full, please call 334-671-8111 and leave us a message and a telephone number with a working voicemail. We will return your call.

For ongoing wellness care, illness, diagnostics, or long-term treatment, we encourage clients to establish care with a full-service veterinary clinic.

We are proud to work alongside local veterinarians to improve animal welfare across the Wiregrass.

The Wiregrass Spay/Neuter Alliance team will be taking our annual summer vacation break from May 22nd through June 1st.

🐾 We will reopen on June 2nd. 🐾

During this time, our clinic will be closed so our hardworking staff can rest, recharge, and spend time with their families. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we take this short break! ❤️
