We are beyond proud of our amazing members, Caralyne Tart and Rayven Henderson!

Last month, the Alabama Council on the Arts visited our Club and challenged our 3rd–5th grade members to create artwork showing what makes Alabama great. Caralyne and Rayven had their pieces selected to be displayed in the State Capitol in Montgomery throughout the entire month of April—what an incredible accomplishment!

We were honored to attend the recognition event in Montgomery and celebrate this special achievement. Congratulations, Caralyne and Rayven—we are so proud of you both!

From meaningful mentorship moments after school at our Enterprise Club, to festive fun in the Daleville Christmas Parade with a special Santa sighting, and ending the night with hot chocolate, popcorn, and Christmas classics at Polar Express Night in Dothan this Friday was full of connection, joy, and unforgettable memories at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass.

This is what the Club is all about. Safe spaces. Caring adults. Meaningful relationships. And plenty of fun along the way.

Every day in the Wiregrass, kids are looking for a safe, supportive place to learn, grow, and simply be themselves while their caregivers are working. At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass, we provide exactly that.

Wilkester O., our 2025 Youth of the Year, is just one shining example of what can happen when a child is surrounded by encouragement, opportunity, and people who believe in their future.

Our members finished their week getting creative! They had the best time today creating festive pine cone decorations and letting their creativity shine bright! A huge shoutout to our amazing Ms. Anna who makes magic happen every day in the Art Room. She brings joy, imagination, and hands-on learning to our Club every week. We love seeing our kids proudly show off their masterpieces! ❤️🌟

💙💪 Girl Bosses in Action!

At the Enterprise Club, members Kaylee and Annyce are getting hands-on experience in Money Matters and Workforce Readiness by running the Club’s very own concession stand! From budgeting and pricing to customer service and cash handling, these young leaders are learning real-world skills that build confidence and responsibility.

We love seeing our girls step into leadership, teamwork, and entrepreneurship all with smiles and style! ✨

This month, several of our incredible Board Members hit the road to visit our Dothan, Slocomb, and Rehobeth Clubs to get a firsthand look at the fun, learning, and creativity happening every day! 💙

From crafts and Power Hour to games and laughter, our members loved showing off their talents and giving our board a glimpse of the magic that happens inside our Clubs.

We’re so thankful for a board that’s not only supportive but hands-on in seeing how their leadership shapes Great Futures! 🌟

Our first-ever Glow Party at the Dothan Club was absolutely EPIC! The kids danced, laughed, and lit up the room, literally! ✨

Huge thanks to our amazing staff, families, and volunteers for helping us make this night one to remember.

We are deeply grateful to Dave Stock - Dothan City Commissioner, District 4 for his incredible generosity and community spirit.

As one of his first acts in office, Commissioner Stock donated his salary to several local nonprofits, including Boys & Girls Clubs of the Wiregrass. This act of kindness will directly impact the youth and families we serve every day.

Thank you, Commissioner Stock, for believing in our mission and investing in the next generation of leaders! 🙏

The 6th Annual Poker Run is rolling out Saturday, October 18 at the Boys & Girls Club of Daleville and you’re invited!

All proceeds help us reach our $20K goal to purchase a new Club van for our members.
