Calling all young musicians! Students in elementary through high school are invited to join the Wiregrass Youth Symphony Orchestra program. Come grow your skills, make new friends, and discover the joy of making music together! Experience the excitement of performing concerts each semester on the big stage at Dothan’s Cultural Arts Center and other venues around town.

Mark your calendars! WYSO registration and audition for fall semester is Saturday, August 8th at 9am! Beginner students, please come between 9-10am and we will fit you to instruments. Symphony students, please come between 10-12:30.

Registration for the beginner strings camp closes tomorrow morning at 10am! If you have questions or concerns or want to make arrangements for registration, make sure you do so before Saturday at 10am!

We received a really good question this week — is camp really $150 a day?! And the answer is no, that would be outrageous but the answer is even more outrageous — it’s only $150 for the entire week!

For the first week of camp, you don’t need to purchase a book or bring your own instrument or know a single thing about music. We provide the music, help you select and size into an instrument, and teach you from the ground up!
