Houston County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a Local Working Group Meeting to provide landowners, farmers, and ranchers with important information about conservation opportunities and to gather input from our local agricultural community.
During the meeting, we will discuss the cost-share programs that will be available for Fiscal Year 2027, as well as the impacts and benefits that CIP funds have provided to producers during FY2025 and FY2026.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you. We will discuss the issues and challenges you are experiencing on your land and in our community and explore ways the Houston County SWCD can help connect you with resources and conservation opportunities.
Your feedback matters. The information and ideas shared during this meeting will help guide the District in determining our conservation priorities for FY2027 and ensure that our programs and efforts address the needs of the people we serve.
Landowners, farmers, ranchers, and community partners are encouraged to attend and share their input. Together, we can identify local needs, strengthen our conservation efforts, and continue working toward a healthier and more productive Houston County.
📢 Attention Landowners, Farmers, Ranchers, and Conservation Partners! Sorry but we had to change the date of this meeting.
