On behalf of Rev. Lisa Cade, pastor, Friendship A.M.E Church, Ozark, AL, and members, we are grateful to God for those who came in support of our annual Women’s Day Observance on mother's day---Sunday, May 10th. Theme: Generations of Faith: the legacy of faith of the women of Friendship A.M.E Church & the Klondyke community."
A debt of gratitude to guest pastor Rev. Tina Williams for a job well done. And to retired Elder Willis Huggins for filling in for Rev. Lisa Cade as she was out of town at my daughter's graduation. Congratulations!
The Pinckard circuit is a beautiful and tight-knit community of churches (Friendship, Bethel (Pinckard) and St. Mark (Newton). Thank you sisters Constance Brown, Sue Palmer and Robin Mccallister. Also, minister Gloria Faye Harper Stewart and Mae Helen Jackson Grant. The service, fellowship and light refreshments fed our spirits, and souls and hunger.
Rt. Rev. Julius McAllister jr., is the Presiding Bishop, and Dr. Rev. Willie E. Marshall is the Presiding Elder.
Friendship A.M.E will observe its 142nd anniversary on Sunday, August 9th.
