Foster Love Project Providing love in action to our foster youth. Foster teens & children can come shop for the items they need at our free donation center.

We’re so excited to have her join our team and support the work of growing and sustaining the impact we’re able to make for the youth and families we serve.

Her role plays an important part in helping us build connections, strengthen partnerships and continuing to put Love in Action every day.

Summer is here ☀️

Our summer display is full of bright, fun essentials — from bathing suits and sandals to pool floats and water toys — with something for all of our recipients to enjoy!

We believe every youth impacted by foster care & adoption deserves the dignity of having choices — to experience joy, comfort and select what feels right for them — especially during the summer months!

At our center, it’s about more than just the items — it’s about creating a space where youth and families can feel supported and find moments of ease!

In partnership with , we were grateful to host a group from for a volunteer Corporate Friday! 💙

Their team showed up ready to serve — spending time volunteering and helping us prepare for our summer events! On top of that, they donated so many amazing items that will go directly to supporting the youth and families we serve in our Center!

To top THAT all off --- donated $1000 to Foster Love Project to continue our mission of supporting families and youth impacted by foster care & adoption!

We’re so grateful for teams who show up in more ways than one, giving both their time and resources to make a difference!

Back in April, we loved having an American Eagle team into our Center!

They jumped in to help hang and organize clothing for our Caregiver Corner revamp. Its may seem like a simple task but it made such a huge difference — helping us create a more welcoming, functional space for the caregivers we serve.

It’s also a reminder that team building happens in many different ways, sometimes it looks like showing up, working together and making a real impact in your community!

Celebrating growth, leadership and a big milestone❤️

Recently, Libby, one of our Program Assistants, presented her senior capstone project to our team — a powerful training focused on trauma-informed de-escalation skills & strategies. Her work created space for learning, reflection and deeper understanding as we continue to support the youth and families we serve in ALL of our programs!

We’re so proud of the thoughtfulness and intention she brought to this presentation and the impact it had on our staff!

Help us wish Libby an extra special Congratulations for graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors in Applied Developmental Psychology🎓 — such a well-deserved accomplishment! We’re grateful to have her on our team and excited for all that’s ahead 🎉

We’re so excited to share this incredible donation❤️

Thank you to PDC Brands for their generous donation of Cantu products! From brushes and combs to shampoos, conditioners, gels, leave-ins, masks AND hair accessories like bonnets, durags and headscarves — this donation covered so many essential needs!

These items will directly support our Excellent Hair Care Program — helping ensure that youth with curly & coily hair have access to products that meet their needs and allow them to care for their hair with confidence.

Access to the right hair care products matters and it’s about more than just hair. It’s about identity, dignity, and feeling seen!

We’re grateful for partners like PDC Brands who help us continue this work in meaningful ways, thank you!

Listening and responding 💚

Over the past few months, we created a small display centered around mental health awareness & su***de prevention with items and messages that promoted positivity, support and healthy coping. After seeing how much our teens connected with that display, we knew we had to expand it!

So for May, we made it bigger!

Our Teen Boutique now features a full display dedicated to Mental Health Awareness — filled with clothing, accessories and resources designed to uplift, encourage and support.

We’re committed to creating spaces where teens feel seen, supported and not alone because showing up for our teens means paying attention to what resonates and creating space for what they need ❤️
