Boston Collegiate Charter School Boston Collegiate serves grades 5-12 and prepares each student for college.

The mission of Boston Collegiate Charter School is simple yet ambitious: to prepare each student for college. We offer an academically rigorous college preparatory curriculum for students in grades five through twelve. 100% of our graduates have been accepted to college; the majority of them will be the first in their families to complete a college degree.

This Mass STEM Week, we are proud to highlight real-world learning in action! 🧪🌊

In September, Mr. White and high school students in our college dual-enrollment Syracuse University Project Advance (SUPA) Earth Science Systems course visited Carson Beach.

Students gathered ocean water samples to perform water quality testing and analyze environmental data—gaining hands-on, college-level experience and preparing for STEM opportunities in college and career right here in MA!🌱🌍

📲 From 6th grade to senior year, our students are on their feet solving math challenges as part of Boston Collegiate's STEM program!

In math “thinking classrooms,” students take the lead and teachers ask guiding questions to help them clarify their reasoning. Whether working on long division or using the Power Rule to write the equation for a line tangent to a function for a given x-value- say that three times fast!- students cement the knowledge and skills that will see them through advanced math... and life!

🎓 Supporting Our Alumni 🎓

Boston Collegiate's Director of Alumni Programming spends much of the fall connecting with our recent graduates about their college experience.

He recently met up with alumni at Messina College at Boston College, where our graduates are part of the new college's first three classes of students.

Alumni at Framingham State University enjoyed dinner together at a local Cheesecake Factory.

By staying connected and building relationships with students that last beyond their time at Boston Collegiate, we help our graduates achieve impressive rates of college persistence. 👏Some 89% of alumni who matriculated to college within the past six years are persisting or have earned their degree!

Objection, your honor- our middle schoolers are having too much fun!

This month, Boston Collegiate's middle school mock trial team kicked off our partnership with Ropes & Gray through Discovering Justice. Students are working with real lawyers to learn how to argue and defend at trial. They are building valuable skills in argumentation, civic engagement, and public speaking.

Mock trial will culminate in a final trial event at the end of this semester. Students will present their cases to real judges and a jury of practicing attorneys ⚖️👩‍⚖️

On Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor the resilience, culture, and contributions of Native Americans and Indigenous peoples.

Boston Collegiate students learn about Native American history and culture throughout the social studies curriculum.
📌In September, 10th grader Ari's poster about pre-contact Native Americans was chosen for the 10th-grade bulletin board, where it has been admired by students and staff!
💬In 5th grade this week, students discussed the "Columbian Exchange" and why people choose to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day instead of Columbus Day.
