Louis D. Brown Peace Institute The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute is a center of Healing, Teaching and Learning for people impacted by murder, trauma, grief and loss.

Brown Peace Institute assists and empowers families impacted by violence by providing support to survivors of homicide victims. Applying their peace curriculum in area schools, the Peace Institute works to instill the value of peace in young people. Through education, collaboration, and policy advocacy, the Peace Institute works to raise awareness of the cause and consequences of violence on the individual, the family, and the community. Whether you walk with friends, rally with your family, unite with an organization you believe in, or uplift other mothers, everyone came together on their Mother's Day to be with one another and move for peace.
