General information
The Black River Amateur Radio Association - BRARA normally meets on the first Tuesday of the month, in Medford, WI, on the lower level, sometimes referred to as the basement, of the Sheriff's Department annex to the courthouse, at 7:00 P.M., or so, at 224 South 2nd Street, in Medford, WI. The Black River Amateur Radio Association - BRARA also has a 2 Meter repeater on 147.750/147.150 MHZ, with a PL of 114.8, and the BRARA also holds an A.R.E.S. Net, or Amateur Radio Emergency Service Net, on Wednesday evenings, starting about 8:30 P.M. or so, and the PL is disabled during the net, so anyone using a transceiver that doesn't have PL, or if someone doesn't know how to set the PL to 114.8, can check in without using PL.
