We’re incredibly proud to share Frank’s journey 💙

Frank, a Paralympic athlete from Cuba, came to the United States seeking refuge — and he’s turning resilience into achievement every step of the way. As part of our PC-ICM program, he has already competed in a local competition that included both non-disabled and disabled athletes, earning both gold and silver medals 🥇🥈

As he continues on his path to the Paralympic Championship, we’re especially proud to share that CWS has secured a volunteer who will act as Frank’s “eyes” for the Michigan Championship, ensuring he has the support he needs to compete at his very best.

We are honored to stand beside Frank, support his journey, and help share his powerful story of perseverance and hope.

We’re proud to partner with Farm Share to support families in our community with access to fresh, nutritious food.

From May 27 through May 29, Church World Service (CWS) Florida will be hosting a free food distribution at our Doral (Miami) office. This event is open to both current clients and walk-ins, with distribution taking place each day until supplies run out.

We understand that food insecurity can affect anyone, and we want our community to know that support is here. If you or someone you know is in need, we warmly encourage you to visit our Food Pantry during these dates.

💚 No appointment needed, visit May 27 - 29th, from 9am - 4pm

📦 Open while supplies last
