Hello Parents! A couple of members of the Doral Academy High math club are organizing an elementary math team where they will compete in various math competitions throughout the school year as well as attend weekly competitive math practices. We had great success our first time around over the summer and we’re hoping to hit the ground running into the school year! We’re opening it up to everyone from grades 3-5 and everything will be held through Zoom. Please sign up by this Thursday (Sept. 3) at 11:59 PM if you’re kids would like to participate! This year's senior class is important to the math club because it represents the first group that joined the accelerated math academy beginning in 6th grade. We have watched these kids grow and blossom into outstanding young men and women. Not only do we have their teachers to thank for molding such great kids but a fantastic set of parents whose hard work and dedication has been of the utmost importance in making the math magic happen.

Thank you parents for those pre-dawn drives to early bird and competitions, for the countless hours of volunteer work, for coming through with every request and idea not matter how random.

We know your kids will do great things because they have been taught by you, great parents! We will miss you!

Thank you WPLG Local 10 & Publix for giving our Mr. Sam Koski the recognition he deserves! His tireless efforts have impacted the lives of so many, producing thousands of mathletes over his 40 year career and sending many to the Ivy League and other top colleges in the nation. Doral Academy Prep is lucky to have him.
