Big big thanks to our Orlando/Central FL Orlando Carnival Downtown and Caribbean American Passport family in Central Florida for delivering a truckload of relief supplies to Global Empowerment Mission warehouse destined for Jamaican families in need. Relief supplies are still needed especially canned protein items and hygiene items.

Volunteer hours are also open at the warehouse Monday - Friday in two shifts 9am to noon and 1pm to pm. Help is needed to sort and pack our inventory of donated items including the ones received today. And don’t forget, every single donation is leveraged to do more.

Please consider donating and volunteering at sflcaribbeanstrong.org.

With the partner support of and we were proud to support and her team in providing some Christmas joy and hope to the impacted families and children of the tight knit community of Kilmarnock Community on the border of St. Elizabeth and Westmoreland.

Hurricane Melissa may have damaged homes and uprooted lives, but one thing is certain: we are here to her that she will NOT steal our (their) JOY!

Over 200 children joined in the joy, receiving gifts, food, and cake, along with Bounce House fun, bubbles, and balloons—thanks to the lively entertainment from Balloons by Jaki Jade and Santas Toy Chest. They also distributed Gift Boxes and cash grants to individuals in need.

Thanks to all who contributed to make it possible among other partners
