This weekend, many of us will gather with family.

There will be barbecues, beaches, sales, laughter, and time off.

And while there is nothing wrong with enjoying the blessings of this country, let’s not forget what Memorial Day is truly about.

It is not about the discount.
It is not about the party.
It is not just about the long weekend.

It is about the men and women who put on the uniform, served this nation, and never came home.

It is about the empty chair at the dinner table.

The folded flag.

The child who grew up without a parent.

The spouse still carrying the weight of goodbye.

The parents who remember a son or daughter not as a headline, but as their baby.

So before we celebrate, let’s pause.

Let’s honor.
Let’s remember.

Freedom has always had a cost, and some families paid that cost with someone they loved.

To every fallen hero, thank you.

To every family grieving this weekend, we see you, we honor you, and we will not forget.

Because legacy is not just what we build. It is who we remember, who we honor, and how we live because of their sacrifice.

An unforgettable evening at the Miami Symphony with our Veterans and their families.

Cathy, spouse of U.S. Military Veteran Tony Zarate, had the opportunity to attend the Miami Symphony Orchestra alongside Vet Info at the gracious invitation of Conductor Eduardo Marturet and his wonderful wife, Athina Marturet.

At Vet Info, we believe healing and connection can come in many forms. Music has a unique way of bringing people together, creating moments of peace, reflection, and unity for Veterans and their loved ones. Cathy shared how evenings like this help Veterans heal, strengthen friendships, and build lasting bonds within the community.

Vet Info is proud to partner with M.I.S.O. to provide meaningful experiences that honor those who have served our country so selflessly.

Thank you to the Miami Symphony Orchestra for making nights like this truly special.

An unforgettable night of music, healing, and community. 🎶🇺🇸

Vet Info was honored to receive tickets for veterans and their plus ones to attend the Miami Symphony Orchestra’s Grand Season Finale, led by Maestro Eduardo Marturet. This beautiful experience gave our veterans and their families a moment to connect, feel appreciated, and enjoy the power of live music.

In this video, Mark Pinilla, Founder of Vet Info, interviews Kathy, the wife of a veteran who attended the Grand Season Finale. Her words remind us why experiences like this matter. Supporting veterans is not only about resources, it is also about dignity, belonging, joy, and mental wellness.

A heartfelt thank you to Eduardo Marturet, Athina Marturet, and the entire Miami Symphony family for being wonderful supporters of our veterans and Vet Info.

We are grateful for this collaboration and look forward to continuing to support the mental health and well-being of veterans through meaningful community partnerships.

Remember those serving away from home and the fathers who have to pull double duty. Also, remember those who are no longer with us physically but in spirit. We miss you, Mom!
