I told you we move quickly around here! Since last night was so successful, I went full speed ahead and already booked part 2. This will be a special themed back to school edition to get us all ready for the year ahead. In addition to more information on IEPs, 504 plans, school choice, and school advocacy, we will also have a local author and caregiver coach coming to speak about self care....something that mom's of kiddos all ages needs. We will also have an attorney who specializes in trusts and guardianship for children. Not only is she a trust attorney, but she's also a mom of two special needs kids, so she will be a wealth of knowledge. This will be a great follow up to everything we learned last night. And, of course food and drinks will be provided because, who doesn't love food and drinks. Save the date!

Oh, what a night! A huge "thank you" to all of the moms who joined us tonight for our first ever Q&A session. An even bigger "thank you" to ARC of Washington County, Pediatric Dentistry Asleep, Presley's Place, Cayla, and Katie for speaking and to Shelly and the Elks for hosting us. We will definitely be back for round #2. My wheels are already spinning! 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️🥴

Come and join us on Monday, June 15th for our first ever Mom's Night Out Q&A Edition. Here we will have professionals and autism moms discussing allllll the things! This event is completely free of charge. Food and drink, as well as some other little goodies, will be provided. There will be two signups posted today. Roller skating (Sunday, June 14th) and Mom's Q&A (Monday, June 15th). First up is roller skating. Come and join us for a fun evening of roller skating at Roll R Way in Donora. You can register your autism family at www.autismopen.org. To all of the moms who were talking, sharing, and asking questions on Saturday....you were heard! Our first ever Mom's Night Out Q&A, Round Table, Information Session, whatever we want to call it, lol, has been scheduled! Come join me at the ARC of Washington in Canonsburg on June 15th for a night of listening, learning, and educating. We will be talking everything from IEPs and Advocacy to Transitioning to Adulthood, Waiver Funding, and Financial/Legal planning. This will be very informal, so please come in your comfy clothes, ready to listen and ask questions. Food and drink will be provided. This event is completely free of charge! Seating is limited, so I will be starting a list of participants. If you'd like to join us, let me know. More information will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

What. A. Day. To the 46 moms who participated in today's spa day, thank you so much for coming! I hope you all had a chance to relax, refresh, and mingle...even if it was for just a little bit. Up next....roller skating, mini golf, and a Mom's Night Out Q&A roundtable. And, I almost forgot....Dad's Day Out. That's right....a day for the dads. Stay tuned!
