Go To Jail! Cascade Lake 4-H Camp's Annual Fundraiser will take place on September 21, 2024. Join us for an evening of fun, family-oriented entertainment at the Old Idaho Penitentiary and help raise funds to support camp!

Bail your county out of jail with a donation to support Cascade Lake 4-H Camp! Each county in our district is competing to raise funds for camp. When you purchase tickets to the event, be sure to also donate to your county’s bail fund. We hope to see you at the event, but if you are unable to attend, you can still contribute to a “bail fund” and make a donation to support camp.

The event will also feature a limited silent auction, family-friendly games, and an opportunity to visit the historic Idaho State Penitentiary after hours. A delicious Dutch oven dinner and beverages will be provided by Vallivue 4-H.

WANTED: YOU at Cascade Lake 4-H Camp’s Fall Work Weekend!

WHERE: Beautiful Cascade Lake 4-H Camp, Donnelly, Idaho

WHEN: The work will take place on Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18, 2024. You are welcome to arrive at camp on Friday, August 16.

WHAT: Help winterize the camp, work on ongoing projects, and enjoy autumn weather in the mountains!

WHO: Anyone wanting to help with the work and enjoy good food and friendly people. 4Hers,* parents, clubs and groups are welcome. Cabins available for Friday and Saturday night, reservations required (limited availability).

Please RSVP no later than August 9 at [email protected].

*All youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Cascade Lake 4-H Camp is what it is today because of our board president, Kathy Lauer. We had the opportunity to recognize her volunteer service at our 2023 Fall Fundraiser. The Board of Directors presented an award for her four decades of leadership at camp, and next spring, we will name our main lodge the “Kathy Lauer Lodge.” We thank Kathy for her service and the impact she has had on the lives of thousands of Idaho youth.
