Zachary Scott Clark's acceptance speech from Saturday in Los Angeles โ€” Soaring Together: A Tuskegee Airmen Story taking home the award at the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards. He says it better than any caption could: these stories need to be told.

Thank you to the men and women whose service made stories like this one possible, and to everyone who helped get the team into that room.

Donations remain open at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/send-the-soaring-together-team-to-la to cover the remaining expenses from LA and sent representation to festivals in Detroit and Sacramento.

Thank you so much for all the support that got us this far. Tonight is the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards. Please keep the team in your thoughts as winners are announced!

This could not be done without your help. The Military and Veterans Entertainment Awards are tonight and our Tuskegee Airmen film, Soaring Together is a a finalist!!!

We're so grateful for the support! If youโ€™ve been thinking about making a donation, today is the day. Only $55 in dollar-for-dollar match funds remains, and the match ends tonight at midnight. Every donation of any amount today is also entered into the drawing for a signed Soaring Together movie poster.

That means weโ€™re only $55 in new donations away from unlocking the next physical challenge for Tami and Zach. Give, share, or both โ€” it all helps.

First Milestone, unlocked! ~52 Deadlifts: done (we may have lost count ๐Ÿ˜…).

We've now raised $2,490 of the $3,450 we need to get to Los Angeles for the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards where Soaring Together: A Tuskegee Airmen Story is a finalist.

Only $105 of dollar-for-dollar donor match remains, and then we're back for 52 seconds of in-and-outs when we reach $2700. You all showed up today in a way we won't forget. Thank you!!

Two of our team are flying to LA this Friday โ€” Executive Producer Tami Hale and writer/director/producer/actor Zachary Scott Clark โ€” to represent Soaring Together: A Tuskegee Airmen Story at the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards Gala, where the film is a finalist.

The $3,450 goal covers their travel โ€” flights, lodging, registration, ground transportation, and meals. Some of it is already on credit cards while the fundraising catches up. Right now a donor is matching the next $750 in gifts dollar-for-dollar, so every dollar in this short window goes twice as far.

Rather than just asking, the team made it a sport. Every fundraising milestone unlocks a physical challenge, judged by trainer Adam Flowers โ€” who had a cameo in the film and is the trainer for Javon "Wolfman" Wright, who just successfully defended the welterweight title at BKB 54 in Manchester, England.

Give, share, cheer them on, make fun of them in the comments โ€” all of it helps.

Progress โ€” updated May 21: $2,590 raised of $3,450 goal. We've unlocked the first physical challenge--here's the video: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BScbAQvjx/
$55 of the donor match still available until midnight tonight which means we only need $55 in new donations to unlock the next challenge. (We'll update this line as we move toward each milestone.)

Update: In addition to the poster giveaway, a donor is doubling every gift now through midnight Thursday, May 21, dollar-for-dollar, up to $750. Zachary Scott Clark and Tami Hale fly to LA the next morning!
---
We have 10 Soaring Together posters, signed by the team โ€” and we're giving every one of them to the people getting us to LA.

The film is a finalist at the Military & Veteran Entertainment Awards. We're raising the money to be there in person on May 23, and these are our way of saying thank you.

How it works: donate $150 or more (it adds up โ€” earlier gifts count toward it) and a signed poster is yours, while they last. Every other donation, any amount, is entered to win one of the rest in a drawing on Thursday, May 21. No donation necessary to enter the drawing โ€” message us and we'll add you.
Ten posters. One week. Link below to be part of it.

Zachary Scott Clark โ€“ Director, Producer, Co-writer, and Actor (portrays Harry Stewart Jr.)

Jason J. Little โ€“ Actor (portrays James Shipley)
