On Tuesday, the The State Historical Society of Missouri will host the world premiere of Soaring Together: A Tuskegee Airmen Story in Columbia, Missouri.
This short film is inspired by the true story of Tuskegee Airmen James Shipley of Tipton, Missouri, and Harry Stewart Jr. of Queens, New Yorkโtwo men who rose above war and prejudice in pursuit of freedom, one in the cockpit and one as his trusted crew chief.
After the screening, the conversation continues with a panel featuring:
