Bible Way Chaplaincy is a department of Bible Way Association of Doniphan, Missouri an is a Non-Profi b.

The Chaplaincy will operate in accordance with the following principles:

a. Provision of professional, accountable, holistic pastoral care of victims, patients, staff and emergency care workers, sensitive to the context of the information learned with proximity. Will conduct themselves in a worthy manner with respect and tolerance, between persons and groups belonging to a particular faith or no

faith at all;
c. Inclusiveness in order to promote and enhance the unity and cohesion of the Bible Way Chaplaincy and surrounding area community irrespective of nationality, ethnicity, color, gender, creed, racial, religious or political background;
d. Compliance with relevant local and state laws and policies such as equity and diversity and occupational health and safety in order to provide a safe environment free of discrimination and harassment.

2026 Missouri First Responders Health and Wellness Conference, taking place September 28-30, 2026, at the Margaritaville Lake Resort in Lake Ozark, MO.
Registration is available for members of the fire service, law enforcement, EMS, dispatchers, corrections officers, and first responder agency chaplains. The conference is free to attend. Breakfast and Lunch are provided on the 29th and 30th. Lodging is provided if your agency is more than 30 miles from the hotel.

As chaplains, we often find ourselves standing beside people during some of life's most difficult moments. We walk into hospital rooms, stand with families after tragedy, comfort those facing loss, and encourage those who feel overwhelmed by life's burdens.
Many times, we wonder why we were called to a particular place at a particular moment. Yet time and again, we witness the providential hand of God at work.
Providence is God's unseen guidance and care. It is His sovereign hand directing circumstances, opening doors, arranging encounters, and placing His servants exactly where they need to be. What may appear to be coincidence is often God's divine appointment.
A chaplain may arrive at a scene believing they are there to minister to one person, only to discover that God has prepared them to encourage many. A simple conversation, a prayer offered at the right moment, or a word of hope shared in faith can become part of God's greater purpose.
Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps."
As chaplains, we are called to be available, faithful, and obedient. God handles the rest. We may not always see the full impact of our ministry, but we can trust that the Lord is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot imagine.
Today, be encouraged. The same God who guides the stars in the heavens is guiding your steps. Every visit, every prayer, every act of compassion may be part of God's providential plan to touch a life for His glory.

THE POWER OF SACRIFICE
Sacrifice is at the heart of our Christian faith. Before there was an empty tomb, there was a rugged cross. Before there was victory, there was surrender.
Jesus said, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." (John 15:13)
Sacrifice is more than giving up something it is giving of ourselves for the benefit of others. It is choosing service over selfishness, obedience over convenience, and faith over comfort.
As chaplains, first responders, public servants, and followers of Christ, we understand that meaningful service often requires personal sacrifice. Whether it is sacrificing time with family, personal comfort, sleep, resources, or our own desires, God honors a heart that willingly gives for His glory and the good of others.
Romans 12:1 reminds us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Every act of kindness, every prayer offered, every life touched, and every burden carried for another becomes an offering unto the Lord.
Today, ask yourself:
What am I willing to sacrifice for Christ?
How can I serve others more faithfully?
What can I lay down so God can be lifted up?
The greatest sacrifices are rarely seen by crowds, but they are always seen by God.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." – Mark 10:45

No matter where life finds you today in strength or struggle, peace or pressure God’s presence remains constant. A chaplain’s mission is not just to speak hope, but to carry the reminder that Christ walks beside us through every valley and every victory.
Sometimes the greatest ministry is simply being present, listening, praying, and pointing people back to the One who never fails.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
At Bibleway Chaplaincy, we believe no heart is too wounded, no burden too heavy, and no person too far gone for the grace of God. Continue to stand strong, encourage one another, and be the light Christ called us to be.

“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God… in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” Philippians 2:15 (KJV)
In a world filled with confusion, darkness, and discouragement, God has called His people to be light bearers. We are not meant to blend into the darkness we are meant to shine through it.
Philippians 2:13-18 reminds us that it is God Himself working within us, giving us the strength, compassion, and courage to reflect His glory. Every act of kindness, every word of hope, every moment of faithfulness becomes a light that points others toward Christ.
Light bearers encourage when others are discouraged.
Light bearers walk in love when the world chooses division.
Light bearers hold firmly to the Word of Life and shine with purpose.
Even the smallest light can break through the deepest darkness. Let your life be a testimony of God’s grace, mercy, and truth wherever He sends you.
Prayer:
Lord, make us faithful light bearers in this generation. Let Your light shine through our words, actions, and hearts so others may see You in us. Amen.

What a wonderful and uplifting time I had visiting with Chaplain Terry Wigley of Mobile, Alabama 75 years young and truly a living testimony to the grace and love of our Savior.
It was a blessing to spend time with him and his family, and to join them in worship at Forest Hill Church of God. The fellowship, the spirit of worship, and the joy of the Lord were deeply felt.
Brother Terry’s long-standing service as a chaplain, along with his faithful service in the United States Air Force, speaks volumes about his dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to both God and country.
Thank you, Brother Terry, for your faithfulness, your example, and your warm hospitality. You are an encouragement to all who know you!

“Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them: When I bring the sword upon a land, and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman…” Ezekiel 33:2
There has always been a call for watchmen.
In every generation, God appoints individuals to stand alert, to see what others may not yet see, and to sound the alarm when danger approaches. A watchman does not speak to gain popularity he speaks to bring warning, protection, and ultimately, life.
Today, that calling still stands.
We are called to be watchful over our homes, our communities, and our own hearts. Not in fear but in awareness. Not in judgment but in responsibility. A watchman carries both the burden of truth and the duty to speak it.
The question is not whether there is a need the need is clear.
The question is: Who will stand? Who will watch? Who will speak?
At Bibleway Chaplaincy, we embrace that calling to be present, to be vigilant, and to be faithful in both warning and encouragement.
Stay alert. Stay grounded in truth. And never ignore the voice that calls you to stand guard.
Be the watchman.
